Every once in awhile, I get that feeling... it's a strange, persist, intoxicating feeling. It gnaws at my soul, it tugs at my heart strings until I say it out loud: Fanfiction.
I must write Fanfiction.
Not that I can't write anything else. I would LOVE to finish James of Jamestown someday. The problem is that I am so scared of ruining it. Honestly, I don't know how to write a book. A book has to keep someone interested from cover to cover. So I guess I will just use this strange urge to write fanfiction as practice.
Let's face it: whether you love it or hate it, you read it anyways.
The question is what to write my fanfiction on? There are a number of things in my head that I've wanted to put to paper (or pixels), such as FFXI and HM. However, not many people would understand FFXI, and I'm pretty sure all of my friends are exhausted with my deep, undying (and inexplicable) love of HM. So what is another game that I really love and will allow me to create my own characters? Pokémon. That's right. I want to write a freaking Pokémon fanfiction. For funsies.
Don't lie. You think it's a great idea. It's cheesy, but we've all wanted to be Pokémon trainers when we were young. And here's the best part of my plan: now you get to be.
"OMGWTFBBQ-- not only are you writing a Pokémon fanfiction, but you're also writing it with YOU as the main character and US as the supporting cast (if we want to be in it)?! And you are going to write it in a satirical and ridiculous fashion so that we can all enjoy being Pokémon trainers but not feel like total losers for being so?"
Why yes, dear reader, you're right on the ball!
Basically, what I will try to do is write a diary entry almost every day about what's happening over the summer. And throw in some Pokémon here and there. I think I will call it: My Uneventful Summer as a Pokémon Trainer or something.
Or something.
Leave ideas and comments, please. This thing isn't for sure, but I'd like to have ONE writing project over the summer.
I may also be writing some cheesy romance novels with my friend Grace, so DA might be lucky enough to see them.
Also, for those of you who read the comments on my journal about wanting telekinesis, I now realize that all my problems can be solved with a snuggie.
